What are the services that the college provides for students with disabilities?


Students who qualify for services with ACCESS may be eligible to receive the following:

  1. Academic advisement and registration
  2. Referrals for diagnostic testing and/or community resources
  3. Development of auxiliary aids services plan, which could include:
  • Adaptive technology or software (e.g., magnification equipment, screen reading software)
  • Individualized testing and double time on tests
  • Sign language interpretation
  • Note taking and/or readers
  • Adaptive technology and software programs
  • Academic adjustments or program modifications (e.g., course substitutions and test waivers)
  • Faculty contact (i.e., letters to instructors)
