Yes. Miami Dade College offers the Refugee Entrant Vocational Education Services Training (REVEST) Program. REVEST promotes and broadens the educational and professional advancement of Refugees of all nationalities; Cuban/Haitian Entrants, including Parolees and Asylum Applicants; Asylees of all nationalities; Amerasians; Certified Victims of a Severe Form of Human Trafficking; Lawful permanent residents who adjusted from prior refugee, entrant, or asylee status; and Special immigrants of Iraqi or Afghan nationality. The REVEST Program offers English Language Instruction, as well as Vocational Training programs, FREE OF CHARGE for eligible individuals. Other services include assistance with public transportation, childcare, translation/evaluation of credentials, etc.
