What is the protocol to follow if an employee self-identifies as “at risk” due to an existing health condition?

If an employee, either Full-Time or Part-Time requests absence in order to protect themself against potential exposure resulting from an existing health condition, refer the employee to their health care provider for documentation supporting this statement PRIOR TO approving any absence. Upon receipt, submit the documentation to the Campus Employee Relations Liaison for guidance and the appropriate time reporting protocols.
