I have a GED. Am I eligible for The Honors College?


GED recipients are eligible to apply with a minimum GED Test Average Score of 165 (GED College Ready). In addition, all applicants must satisfy the Minimum Standardized Test Scores described below. Multiple test scores may be submitted from the ACT, SAT, Digital SAT, ACCUPLACER Next-Generation (NG), and Classic Learning Test to satisfy this requirement. The admissions committee will superscore test scores, which means they will consider the highest score achieved in each test.

Minimum Standardized Test Scores

ACT: Reading 19, Math 19, English 17
SAT: Reading 24, Math 24, Writing and Language 25
Digital SAT: Reading and Writing 490, Math 480
ACCUPLACER Next Generation: Reading 256, Math 261, Writing 253
CLT: Sum of Verbal Reasoning & Grammar/Writing 38, Math 16

*Test scores are valid for 2 years.
