How many credits do I need to take to be considered a full-time student? Part time?


To be considered a full-time student during the fall and spring terms, you must be enrolled in at least 12 credits. To be considered a full-time student during a 12-week summer session, you must be enrolled in at least 12 credits. During a six-week summer session, you must be enrolled in at least six credits to qualify for full-time student status.

To be considered part time, you must be enrolled in fewer than 12 credits for the fall and spring terms, fewer than 12 credits during a 12-week summer session, and fewer than six credits in a six-week summer session.
