Do I have to see an advisor in order to register for classes?

It’s always a good idea to meet with an academic advisor before registering to make sure you are on track for graduation. You can meet with one at your campus Advisement and Career Services office.

  • If you are first time in College and coming direct out of high school (direct entry) you are required to attend a mandatory orientation and meet with an advisor prior to registering.
  • If you are a continuing or returning student in good academic standing, seeing an advisor is optional, but strongly recommended.
  • Students on academic probation are required to meet with an academic advisor each semester prior to registering.
