Are there any exceptions to Federal Pell Grants or Federal Student Loans for students who dropped out of school as a result of COVID-19?

For students who dropped out of school as a result of COVID-19, the term will be excluded from counting toward lifetime Pell eligibility and cancels the portion of the student’s loan taken out for the semester if a student withdrew due to COVID-19

You will not be required to return unused Pell Grants or federal student loans to the Secretary.   The students who received financial aid funds and are dropping out of school due to COVID 19 must notify the Financial Aid by email at finaid@mdc.edu
